San Francisco Getaway “22”

We just got back from our trip to San Francisco and let me tell you ladies, I needed a little getaway! I’ve never been to San Francisco, so it was a fun experience seeing something new and playing tourist for the weekend! We stayed at the Hilton San Francisco financial district and it was a such a great experience, with a great view of the bay from our room! It was close to Chinatown, but about a 10-15min drive from all the tourist destinations.

However, San Francisco is a big city full of fun and different things to do, from colorful victorian houses to tasteful elaborate dinners, to the famous Napa Valley, there’s an endless room of things to do.

I documented a majority of my time there, including the outfits I wore! Let me take you down memory lane and what I wore during my trip!

Because San Francisco is close to the bay, I was expecting some chilly weather, which we did end up getting. However, we did get some sunny weather, Either way, I still prepared for the unexpected, since one of the days was supposed to rain. San Francisco has a lot of hills, so I packed some comfortable day outfits like the one above.

In this look, we went to Pier 39, one of the popular tourist destinations, that has an array of different shops, restaurants, and tour experiences. It’s a great family spot, but for a couple I would recommend doing it for one day, there are a lot of other romantic things to do in San Francisco, so take advantage of it!

Bodysuit: Windsor
Blazer: Chic Me

We had breakfast at the Fairmont Hotel the next day, which is one of the oldest and historic hotels in San Francisco. It was beautifully decorated and adorned with antique paintings, chandeliers, and furnishings, giving off a Parisian vibe.

The service and waiter were very sweet and welcoming. We were treated with warm pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice before our breakfast! Our breakfast overall was delicious, I had a classic bacon and eggs breakfast, while JR had an omelette. I would recommend going with your loved one or with a group of girls!

That night we had dinner at The View in the Marriot Hotel. It sits on the 36th floor with an amazing city view! It’s more of a cocktail lounge and has small plate food options, but it’s a prefect spot for a girls night out or late night drinks!

I wanted to wear one of my new body suits, so I was so excited to wear it when JR found this cocktail lounge! It was perfect for a night out and I paired it with one of my favorite blazers and heels!

On our third day, we went to the palace of fine arts. Its a beautiful dome with curved columns, giving off a Greek vibe. It’s close to the beach, along colorful pastel homes and close by a park.

I knew we were going to do some walking around the park and through the neighborhood, so I wanted to wear something comfortable, but warm since the weather was fairly chilly. I wore one of my favorite sweaters and paired it with my leather shorts and boots.

That night we had dinner at epic steak house. From the service to the food, I couldn’t have asked for a better dinner. Everything was delicious and tasteful. We had an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge and even had a front row seat of some NBA players, although I didn’t know who they were, but we overheard them talking about there careers and couldn’t help noticing people taking pictures of them.

However, this was a perfect opportunity to wear one of my new dresses! I loved the string embellishments along the side, but a bit daring for a family steakhouse, so I paired it with a blazer.

Overall, If you’re planning a California trip anytime soon, I would recommend heading to San Francisco! We did quite a bit more than what I shared in this blog including touring Alcatraz and even having a private boat wine tasting! There are countless things to do that i’m even still adding to my list! I hope you enjoyed this blog! Let me know in the comments what are some things we need to check out in San Francisco!

– XOXO
