Halloween is right around the corner ladies and I am still reminiscing on my last years Halloween costume! I, like many others wanted to be something different that was cute and didn’t break the bank! Last year, I was contemplating being a black swan or an angel, but I saw a baileys witch commercial and I loved the idea of being a witch, but not just any witch, a glamour witch!
In the Baileys commercial the main witch had a beautiful sequence dress, which definitely screamed glamour! I didn’t want to look exactly like her, but I did like the idea of wearing an emerald sequence dress! However, I didn’t end up finding a dress I absolutely loved and could wear multiple times, so I ended up finding a dress I loved in a classic black color and it even had texture on the sleeves, which I thought made the costume more “witchy!”
In order to finish off my look I needed accessories that went with my theme. Luckily, I found a hat and black feathered boa from Amazon, that my mom helped me sew onto the brim of my hat to make my costume more dramatic! My mom also brought a broom with her from her recent trip to Mexico, that I used as a prop, which really made the costume come together! However, this is something you can easily find in the states!
If your in need of an easy DIY costume with your favorite dress. Here is my last years costume:

Dress: Oh Polly
Hat: Amazon
Shoes: Thrifted
Fish Nets: Amazon

It’s a simple DIY look you can emulate or revamp to make it your own! I hope this look has inspired you for your next DIY costume! Let me know in the comments what your wearing this Halloween season?
