Pro Tip: Plan Your Outfits

We all have those moments where we have no idea what to wear when, in reality, we have a closet full of clothes just begging to be worn! Although there may be many reasons why we can’t decide what to wear, many of us tend to gravitate towards those comfort pieces instead.

If this is you and you get into style ruts far too often, then one of my suggestions would be to try to plan your outfits ahead of time. You never know; this may spark your creativity and let you fall in love with your style again. Sometimes, our everyday schedule and family responsibilities can get in the way of the little things we used to find joy in. Prioritizing the things you value most can boost your self-esteem and also be a stress reliever from everyday life. For me, styling is just that; it brings me happiness and provides a newfound confidence. As the saying goes: “If you look good, you feel good.”

For me, Sundays typically work well for coordinating/planning my outfits. I try to carve out at least an hour during the day to put together 2-3 work-related looks for the week. I don’t plan all my looks, as I like to dress towards a more casual-athletic look! You can base your challenge for the week as you see fit and gradually work your way to styling your looks the same day.

I hope this tip has sparked a new idea to try! Try to schedule some time to plan your outfits based on your schedule and see how it goes; the worst thing that can happen is finding out planning isn’t your thing.
