How I Style My Lingerie

In recent years, lingerie looks have taken the fast fashion industry by storm, first introduced in the 1800’s by French designer Herminie Cadole, as a way of comfort and support, as opposed to the tight confining’s of a corset. Today, it has evolved into a powerhouse statement for women to feel sexy, confident, and beautiful. They can be seen in a variety of colors, fabrics, and styles with a modern twist.

In recent trends we have seen lingerie not only meant for its purpose but as a wardrobe staple piece. Celebrities, designers, and influencers have paved the way for others to dress up their lingerie and use it as a day to night look.

With Valentines Day around the corner these lingerie looks are perfect for a romantic night out and are sure to kill your valentine!

Look 1

Body suits can be intimidating, especially one thats really revealing. With body suits that have less coverage I would suggest layering them with a blazer and pairing them with a pant or short. Depending on the weather, you can add a pantyhose if your wearing a short or skirt for comfort and warmth.

Look 2

By far this is one of my favorite looks I’ve styled! Lady power suits are a big trend this season and pairing a body suit with your favorite suit is perfect for a night out with friends or your boo!

Look 3

I just got this bra and I’m in love with it! It has a cute bow around the bust area, with a bit of bling in the center! I styled it with a skirt and heel for a romantic night out! The nice thing is that you can style this bra in so many ways!

Look 4

In my last look I wanted to style this long maxi skirt one last time before I got rid of it. It’s getting a bit to short for me to wear, so I paired it with a lace bra and layered it with a cropped jacket and heels. You can wear a slip skirt instead of a maxi skirt or pant for those chilly nights.
