2022 Spring/Summer Accessory Trends

Whose ready for this seasons accessory trends? I know I am! Well, we can expect from previous seasons trends resurface and make there way up again, with some fun and new twists to fashion. We can expect to see 70’s inspired shoes, chain link details, and an array of colorful mix of accessories.

Let’s dive right into this seasons accessory trends!

1. Platforms

We’ve seen this trend before, a 70’s inspired era, where disco, peace, and hippie culture was all the craze. Platforms are making a comeback and are just in time as flared bottoms, colorful swirl prints, and cat suits are making waves. These 70’s inspired trends will be a great style choice for a platform shoe!

2. Head Scarf

This trend is still going strong and making waves! Influencers to celebrities have all adopted this trend and I’ve even seen some of my favorite brands style this accessory! It’s a fun new way to wear a scarf than the old traditional way of wearing it around our necks or chin! Opt this accessory this summer and see what all the buzz is about!

3. Gold Hoop Earrings

A simple medium size hoop earring is a staple every women should own! (only If you like wearing earrings) It’s a fashion favorite that is effortless and timeless, you can easily wear them with any look and look great doing it! This season you can expect to see chain link, logos, added embellishments, and an array of fun twists to the staple gold earring!

4. Wide Waist Belts

You can thank the Y2K look for this, as wide waist belts are making waves and a great way to showcase your curves! I’ve seen this trend over blazers, shirt dresses, and sweaters. I would opt this accessory with a small bag for more versatility!

5. Chain Link Belts

A fresh new way to wear your belts! You can thank, Sex and the City, Carrie for this trend! Chain link belts to logo beaded belts are making waves and are being worn around the waist, and not in its traditional way! This is a cute trend to wear with your swimwear or style in its traditional form for a night out!

6. Gloved Up

Another fashion favorite has made its way back into the circle of this season’s accessory trends! I’ve seen it on a few celebrities and influencers and couldn’t help but notice it more this season on the runway as, designers showcased a more vibrant colorful palate of colors! Glove lengths were also another favorite, with long, midi, or short being most spotted. Different textures, such as leather and mesh were also spotted! So, I wouldn’t give up on this trend yet ladies, as it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon!

7. Hand Bags

Small over the shoulder hand bags have been all the rage! Sported in streetwear from the likes of influencers to known celebrities! You can find these bags in various different colors and sizes! Opt one this season there sure to be on trend for many seasons to come.

8. Square Toed

Square toed shoes are still going strong and a common staple this season! Offered in various styles and colors! If you haven’t jumped on this trend yet, it’s not to late to hop on this season!
